The Information We Collect

When you join the Consumer Insight Center, powered by MMR Research Worldwide, Inc. (MMR) research panel, you fill out a profile that collects personal and general consumer information including your email address. Your email address is used to invite you to participate in upcoming research projects. The personal information we collect such as gender, birth date, state of residence and employment status are used to qualify you for upcoming studies and to provide aggregate category information to our clients such number of males or females who completed a project. Your name and mailing address enable us to send you incentives, prizes and/or other rewards you earn based on your participation.

Use of This Information

Once you join the MMR panel, your profile is stored in our proprietary database. This profile is strictly confidential. Your personal information such as name, address and phone number is never sold to other companies. However, by your participation you agree that we may share your contact information and program responses with the client(s) who commissioned the relevant panel, and the clients’ relevant vendors.

Updating Profile Information

Periodically, you will be sent an email request to update your profile or you can update your basic profile information at any time by logging in to your account or contacting participate@cictesting.com

Opt-out Policy

If at any time you wish to end your membership with MMR, please contact unsubscribe@cictesting.com or log on to your account profile to unsubscribe. Once you unsubscribe, you will no longer receive email invitations or telephone communication regarding upcoming opportunities to participate in research from MMR.

Rewards

Anyone who participates in an MMR study is eligible for the prize or incentive established for that study. Information regarding drawings, incentive or other prizes will be explained when you qualify for a study. At times, MMR may request additional information such as your mailing address and/or any information required by law for reporting purposes.

IRS Requirement

In compliance with the IRS, anyone who earns $600 or more in a calendar year must submit a W-9 form to MMR. You can find and complete a W-9 form on the IRS website and email it to participate@cictesting.com in advance of earning $600. If do not wish to submit a W-9, you have the option to pause your account before reaching $599 and be reinstated in the next financial year. However, it is your responsibility to keep track of your earnings. If you would like your account paused, you must reach out to us before reaching $599.
If you exceed the $600 amount and we do not have W-9 on file for you, an MMR representative will reach out to you before the end of the financial year requesting a W-9.

Notification of Changes

If there are material changes to our privacy policy, reward policy or ownership of this panel, you will be notified directly via email. All changes will be updated on our website.

Security

MMR will make every effort to ensure that your personal information is secure. Access to your profile is password- protected and restricted to our site administrators. You will only be contacted for the reasons described above (see use of this information). MMR does not collect financial information such credit card or bank account numbers.

Children’s Privacy

MMR will not knowingly collect information from individuals under the age of 13 without first gaining permission from his or her parent or legal guardian.
